'Live and Kickin' - CD

Our second recording, 'Live and Kickin' celebrates our 50 years of singing together! It's titled such because we still are - live and kickin. It's also a 'live' recording - three summer 2009 concerts edited together. Igor Glenn of Phoenix, AZ and a former member of the New Christy Minstrels, joined us on bass and he immediately added great energy and pizazz to the shows. Some of our songs go back to our first year together; some are very recent additions. Woody Guthrie is prominently featured. If you like those old fashioned, tight "brother-style" harmonies, seasoned with guitars, banjo and bass, this recording should please the pallet.

It's About Time - CD
The Wanderers, Carl Allen and Bill Murlin, met in a college folk trio in 1959. Their music has been influenced by Woody Guthrie, The Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul and Mary, Pete Seeger, The Everly Brothers, Tom Paxton and The Chad Mitchell Trio. "It's About Time" was the popular reaction when the Wanderers announced this, their first album after more than 45 years of singing together. The songs include some The Wanderers sang in college to others more recently written, all chosen with their potential harmonies and gentle acoustic accompaniments in mind.Carl and Bill are known in the Pacific Northwest for their programs highlighting the songs Woody Guthrie wrote in the region in 1941, published as The Columbia River Collection.
